Richmond Fire Welcomes New Members to Department

Richmond Fire Chief Rick Gallas announced today the addition of 3 new members to the department.  Joining Richmond Fire as a P.O.C. member is David Holem of Spring Grove.  Dave has 17 years experience in the fire service and is an Illinois Certified Firefighter 3, Fire Apparatus Engineer, Arson Investigator and is an EMT-B.  New POP members are Joe Hutchinson and Curtis Johnson.  Joe lives in Lakemoor and is a certified Illinois FF2 / Paramedic.  Joe will start working Paid on Premise (POP) 12 /24 hour shifts following an orientation process in July.  Curtis, who is a FF2/EMT-B will also begin as a POP member following orientation in July.  Curtis. a former Richmond resident, is expected to begin his Paramedic studies in August through the McHenry / Western Lake County EMS System.

Richmond Fire Welcomes New Recruits to Department

Richmond Fire Chief Rick Gallas welcomed 3 new fire recruits to the department  at the May 20 firefighter meeting.  Joining Richmond Fire are recruits Bryce Etten, Jason Foszcz and Eric Schwind.  All three will begin the process of achieving the required certifications as Illinois State FF2 and IDPH certified EMT-B.
