Mission Statement:

The Richmond Fire and Rescue Department is dedicated to saving lives and protecting property by enhancing the professional competency of its members, advancing the standards of firefighting an rescue techniques, improving member's effectiveness, improving services to the community and improving the quality of life for the residents of the community through education and services.

Staffing:

Our fire station is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in order to provide the fastest response to your emergency as possible.  Our department provides  both Fire and Emergency EMS service for the community.  Our department has 2 Advance Life Support ambulances, 2 engines, 1 truck, 1 brush truck and 3 cars.  Our membership includes 42 members of which 22 are licensed Illinois paramedics.
