Explorer Post 1400 Established April 1, 2008

The Richmond Township Fire Protection District is pleased to announce the formation of Explorer Post 1400 in conjunction with the Boy Scouts of America.  Fire Explorer Post 1400 is open to Boys and Girls ages 15-19 with an interest in future careers in Fire and EMS services.  Explores train three times a month and have an open invitation to train with the firefighters and come to the station during emergency calls.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!

We are actively seeking High School Students interested in this rewarding and competitive field.  Openings are limited!  Train with the men and women of the Richmond Township Fire Protection District!

Basic Requirements for admission into the
Richmond Fire Explorer Program

  1. Age 15-19

  2. Residency within the Richmond Township Fire Protection District

  3. Maintain "C" Average or better

  4. Permission of Parent(s) or Guardian(s)

  5. Complete an oral interview with the Explorer Program Directors
