Community Emergency Response Team

Mission Statement:  Provide in-depth guidance for Citizen Preparedness in an organized manner in the event of local disasters in the greater Richmond area, by providing knowledge of disaster readiness, people helping people, rescuer safety, and doing the greatest good for the greatest number. The Richmond Township CERT will be a comprehensive source for individual, family and community preparedness.

A Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) has been formed to serve the Greater Richmond, Illinois area. Endorsed by the Richmond Township Fire Protection District, Richmond Township CERT augments the capabilities of the emergency response effort in the Richmond area should a disaster strike.  The CERT team membership area includes Richmond, Spring Grove, Hebron, Wonder Lake, Johnsburg and Ringwood.  If you are interested in joining this volunteer group, please let us know via E-mail or call us at (815) 678-3672.
